Sunday 19 November is this year’s World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDR).

Commemorated annually on the third Sunday of November, the day’s purpose is to remember the millions killed and injured on the world’s roads, together with their families, friends and others who are also affected.

The day is also used to thank the emergency services and reflect on the burden and cost of road traffic collisions on families, communities and countries.

Visit the WDR website to find out more, including WDR events and how to donate.
