Several road safety industry professionals have been confirmed as speakers at this year’s Young Driver Focus event.

Taking place on 26 April 2017 in London, Young Driver Focus 2017 will examine current and future thinking with regards to reducing crashes and casualties involving young drivers.

Organised by Road Safety GB working in partnership with FirstCar, Young Driver Focus is designed to be of interest to:

  • Public sector road safety professionals – road safety officers, fire & rescue, police and others involved in road safety delivery
  • Private sector organisations and individuals with an interest in working in partnership with the road safety profession.

To date, confirmed speakers include Associate Professor Teresa Senserrick, Transport and Road Safety (TARS) Research, University of New South Wales, Australia; Lesley Young, Head of Policy and Chief Driving Examiner for the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA); Colin Grover, Principal Engineer, Automated Driving, Thatcham Research and Laurence Atchison, Senior Research Office, PACTS.
