Best and worst states for summer road trips revealed

A new report has been published revealing the best and worst states for summer road trips.

All 50 U.S. states were compared by WalletHub, using 22 key indicators including costs, safety and activities.

The report found Oregon to be the number one state for summer road trips, followed by Utah in second place, then Washington, North Carolina and Louisiana.

The states ranking in places sixth to tenth were Texas, Nevada, Minnesota, California and Colorado.
