April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month: Make the pledge to ditch distractions
National Safety Council

Distracted driving is a major killer on the roads and today it is easier than ever to become distracted behind the wheel.

New technology allows us to make phone calls, dictate texts or emails and update social media while
driving – all actions that are proven to increase crash risk.

In the United States, the National Safety Council observes April as Distracted Driving Awareness Month to draw attention to this epidemic.

The NSC has produced a whole range of resources to support the awareness month, including posters, tips sheets, infographics and videos.
